I’m so happy that it’s finally spring! I love warm weather and being outside. However, not everyone is as enthusiastic about spring as I am. Take for instance, my husband Erich.
When the pollen, especially the cover-everything-and-turn-the-world-yellow pine variety, hits the air, Erich insists I close back door that leads to our screened-in porch, which I opened to enjoy the wonderful warm weather. Seems he get a bit of what I’ll call “seasonal discomfort.”
Here’s what we’re doing to remedy his problem: I fix him a couple of “swallows” of water in a glass. Then I add 1-3 drops each of lavender, lemon, and peppermint essential oils. Erich drinks this and feels much better. This works best when done 2-3 times each day.
The brand of oils I use and recommend also offers a softgel pill that has lavender, lemon and peppermint in it. If you are interested in purchasing the 3 oils or the softgel pill, you can email me at TheAromatherapyMama@gmail.com.
Happy Spring! Get outside and have fun!
